Financials & Transparency
Where our funding comes from, and what we spend it on.
Who we are
Your Churches™ is a domestic nonprofit corporation incorporated in the State of Alabama on May 12, 2026, and recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, effective May 12, 2026.
- Legal name: Your Churches
- EIN: 42-2492819
- IRS status: 501(c)(3) public charity, 509(a)(2)
- Principal office: 17677 Montgomery Hwy, Highland Home, AL 36041
How we are funded
Donations
One-time and recurring gifts from individuals who want small churches to have a digital presence. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Membership contributions
Churches that are able to contribute support a monthly membership. Those contributions directly subsidize the churches that cannot pay anything.
Verses Wear™ merchandise
Net proceeds from scripture apparel and gifts. Merchandise is a funding method, not our purpose.
How funds are used
Hosting and infrastructure
Cloud hosting, storage, databases, and the delivery network that keep every church app and church website online.
The free tier
Every church on our free plan costs us money to serve and pays us nothing. This is the single largest use of funds and the reason the organization exists.
Software development and support
Building and maintaining the mobile app, the church websites, and the tools congregations use day to day, plus helping churches get set up.
Administration
Required filings, insurance, accounting, and the ordinary costs of operating a nonprofit corporation.
Commercial activity
We sell scripture merchandise through Verses Wear™ and we invite churches that can afford it to contribute a monthly membership. Both exist for one reason: to pay for the churches that contribute nothing. Our core offering — a church app and a church website — is free, and we do not require payment, membership, or any religious affiliation in order to receive it.
Annual reporting
Your Churches was recognized as tax-exempt in May 2026 and has not yet completed a full fiscal year. Our first annual report and IRS Form 990-series filing will be published on this page once the fiscal year closes. In the meantime, our IRS determination letter and exemption details are available on request.
